77 periodicals, no duplicates, from the years 1909 to 1935. Each 9 x 6 inches and about 32 pages, with photograph illustrations. Some with accession numbers on front, but most clean and very good. Any defects noted in the list below.  Good. Paperback.

The Thornwell Orphanage in Clinton, South Carolina, opened in 1875, founded by Rev. William Plumer Jacobs. We first notice the Rev. L. Ross Lynn as editor in the December, 1930 issue.

Rev. Lucius Ross Lynn (1875-1966) was president of the orphanage for many years.

News from the orphanage with matter probably found no where else. The orphanage was supported by the Synods of South Carolina, Georgia and Florida.
