A story from the Victorian age about wheelchair-bound Charlie, the son of a medical doctor, and his mate Willie the gardener boy. At the close of the story Willie helps Charlie put his faith in Jesus Christ, and to ask for a new heart.
Catherine Douglas Bell (1818-1861), b. & d. at Edinburgh, Scotland. She was never married and devoted herself to writing Christian story books for children, writing about forty of them during her productive years.
