No. 53 of the Youth's Library series. The story of an English girl born August 20, 1827, who suffered from scarlet fever, measles, and scoliosis, whose mother brought her to New York, seeking to improve the child's health. They lived in an attic room on Essex Street. An account of the child's Christian faith and sufferings. The anonymous author was a friend to Grace and her mother. The book was published by various religious firms beginning 1838, and originally "sold for the benefit of her family."
