This periodical began in 1872 and is not mentioned in the treasurers' reports of the Society after 1875 (WorldCat). Report of missionary activities, evangelist colporteur's experiences, of Rev. W. M. Roger's trip to Edinburgh on behalf of the Society, a lengthy report from the Pointe-Aux-Trembles Schools.

The French Canadian Missionary Society was founded in 1839 in Montreal, composed of evangelical ministers and laymen. The Society thrived for about forty years, and was determined to evanglize the French Roman Catholic population in Canada. This was attepted through evangelistic preaching, the distribution of literature, and education.
