Albert Theodore Spalding (1831-1921), a graduate of Mercer University (1851) and of their Theological Seminary (1853). He was the pastor of Baptist churches in the southeast, and a trustee of Mercer University from 1875 to 1881.
William Henry Young was a long-time Baptist pastor in the Georgia.
