Arthur P. Sengpiehl (1899-1981) b. Gardner, KS; a Baptist minister who served churches in the midwest, and while at Moody Bible Institute was assistant superintendent of the Moody Gospel Mission in Chicago. Sengpiel was a US Army chaplain for 20 years, achieving the rank of Lt. Colonel. He was also active as an evangelist and author, and later in life was Seminary Evangelist for Northern Seminary in Lisle, Illinois.
