Karl Friedrich Nowak (1882-1932), Austrian journalist, author, and publisher. During WWI he was a war correspondent in the Austro-Hungarian war press headquarters, and in 1917 was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Franz Joseph Order with war decorations in recognition of his service.
