This is an early production by the author before he changed his name to Lee.
Dr. Charles [Levy] Lee (1913-2002), born in the Germantown section of Philadelphia, professor of English at the University of Pennsylvania and for fifty years a member of that department. He became known as the "Dean of Philadelphia critics," serving as a book editor for newspapers and as a contributor to both radio and television from the times of their infancy. He also served as the arts and entertainment critic at Philadelphia's classical music station. His twin brother was the author and television producer David Levy.
