Synod of Baltimore. Historical Sketch of the Synod of Baltimore, with a Map of its Presbyteries and Churches; bound with Minutes of the Synod of Baltimore, 1888-1897. Baltimore: Printed by William J. Carter, 1889. First Edition.
11 items bound together: the Historical Sketch is one, then 10 years of Minutes.
Two-tone leather binding, 6 x 8 1/2 inches, light rubbing to edges, very good. The different items bound average 45-55 pp. each. There is a folding map with the Historical Sketch. Very good.
The Synod of Baltimore was formed from the Presbyteries of Baltimore, Carlisle, Eastern Shore, and Winchester, in 1854. The Historical Sketch outlines the actions taken, petitions, &c. The Minutes from 1888 to 1897 give one a clear picture of the activities of the Synod.
