Henry Grattan Guinness (1835-1910), Irish Nonconformist minister, a leading preacher during the Ulster revival of 1859. It is said that his popularity in London exceeded that of Charles Spurgeon (DNB, 1912 Supplement).
His evangelistic work took him to many countries, and after 1877 he and his wife concentrated on promoting foreign missionary work in the Congo and elsewhere.
