An interesting list of items revealing what was thought important to preserve at that time. There are over 1500 historical items from the Indians of the area, colonial settlement, the Revolutionary War, and up through the Civil War. There are additional collections of minerals & gems, bird eggs, books, private collections of Indian artifacts, &c.
