A brief account of Clara Eastham (Gray) Schauffler (1842-1883), b. Enfield, Mass.; d. Cleveland, Ohio. She was the wife of the American missionary Rev. Henry Albert Schauffler.
They were missionaries in Constantinople, where her husband had been born to missionary parents. After returning to the United States due to her poor health, she died two months after the birth of her eighth child.
