Rev. Dr. Joseph Buckminster (1751-1812), b. Rutland, MA; d. Readsboro, VT. A Yale graduate (1770) and the orthodox minister of the North Church at Portsmouth, NH, from 1779 to 1812.
Rev. James Thurston (1769-1835), b. & d. at Exeter, NH. After serving as pastor of several churches in New England he was for the last 20 years of his life the minister of the Congregational church in his hometown of Exeter.
