The binding title is Freemasonry in Mine, 1762-1970, and we think that 1970 is when it was bound. The contents are from 1945, and include no information past that date.
Captain Ralph J. Pollard (1896-1975), b. Lowell, Mass., d. Waldoboro, Maine. A military man, he was a graduate of the Massachusetts Military Academy in Boston, and served in the US Army on the Mexican border, and in France during WWI.
An educator, he was active as professor and instructor in the Wenonah Military Academy, Wenonah, New Hampshire, and later at Peekskill Military Academy, Peekskill, NY.
After a disability ended his military career he devoted himself to Freemasonry, achieving high rank and esteem in that fraternity.
