Julia Harriette Johnston (1849-1919), b. Salineville, Ohio; d. Peoria, Illinois. Johnston was a Presbyterian teacher, author, and musician who is remembered as the author of the lyrics to the hymn "Grace Greater Than All Our Sin." Her father was the pastor of the First Presbyterian Church in Peoria, and Julia taught Sunday School there for over 40 years. She wrote over 500 hymns.
