A prominent Anglican theologian and churchman, Dr. Dillistone served as Professor of Systematic Theology, Wycliffe College, Toronto (1838-1945); as Professor of Theology, Episcopal Theological School, Cambridge, Massachusetts (1947-1952); Canon, Chancellor, and Dean, Liverpool Cathedral (1952-1963); and Fellow and Chaplain, Oriel College, Oxford (1964-1970).
