Attributed to Rev. Richard Seymour (1806–1880), b. Devon, England; d. Worcestor, England. Richard was the son of Rear Admiral Sir Michael Seymour, 1st Baronet Seymour of High Mount (1768–1834). He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford, and served as Vicar of Kinwarton & Great Alne (1834-1876), and was an honorary Canon of Worcester Cathedral.
