Attributed to Mrs. E. Burrows at WorldCat. Not much is known of the author. She was English, a writer of books for children, and her works were first published in London.
This written as a story in conversational form, with "the mist" being the dark days before the Protestant Reformation, and "the sunlight" being the revelation once again of the truth of God's word as rediscovered during the time of Luther. The story takes place during family devotional time, with the mother answering the questions of the children.
