"The road having been already located as far as Vandalia, in Illinois, the present report refers to that part of the location between Vandalia and the Seat of Government in Missouri." The two routes described are one for each side of the Missouri River. Designated the Southern and the Northern Routes, this report includes charts of approximate expenses for developing each.
