Jacob Norton (1764-1858), b. Abington, Massachusetts; d. Billerica, Massachusetts. Norton graduated from Harvard College (1786), and was ordained over the church at Weymouth in 1787, where he remained until 1824. His dismissal was due to his embrace of Unitarianism, Univeralism, and the rejection of infant baptism.
