Among the corresponding members were Rev. Archibald Alexander, Rev. Jesse Appleton, Hon. Elias Boudinot, and Rev. Seth Payson.
The Society was founded in 1803.
This pamphlet includes the Constitution of the Society; a chart of the Tracts distributed, with titles, number, and county in which distributed; the letter of instruction sent to agents; 13 different letters of thanks sent to the Society; lists of officers, resident members, and corresponding members; forms of subscription and bequests; and an interesting list of 33 books on religion for sale by W. Hilliard, Cambridge.
