Abraham R. Brown (1810-1882) was an Adventist living in Exeter in the early 1840's who published/printed several tracts and booklets warning people of the Second Coming in 1844. He published Second Advent Hymns, Designed to be used in Prayer and Campmeetings, at Exeter in 1842.
He may have been associated with the "Christian" movement when the hymnal offered for sale here was published, for the Christian Herald, where it was printed, was part of that movement.
