The Rev. Frederick Arnold (1833-1891), an Anglican churchman. He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford, and was for some time the editor of the Literary Gazette, as well as the Churchman's Family Magazine. He wrote extensively in church history, biography, a history of Greece, and Turning Points in Life. Rev. Arnold was a contributor to the Encyclopedia Britannica, and to Smith's Dictionary of Christian Biography.
