Records of the Congregational General Association during the period stated in the title. In skimming through we see Advises against letting George Whitefield occupy any pulpit within the Association. Advises to preach against the errors of Socinianism, Arrianism [sic], Arminianism, Pelagianism and Antinomianism. Reports on churches that have embraced error and that other churches should withdraw communion from them. Says that ministers should be supported financially. Speaks of support from England for Dr. Wheelock's Indian Academy. Addresses the dangers of the Revolutionary War period with a long letter (1778) by John Trumbull calling for resistance to the soldiers of Great Britain and her mercenaries.
