He was an editor of the juvenile paper, \u003cem\u003eLittle Corporal\u003c\/em\u003e (1866-67), the \u003cem\u003eNational Sunday School Teacher\u003c\/em\u003e (1867-73), and of the \u003cem\u003eNew York Independent\u003c\/em\u003e.
