William Coit Stevens, Presbyterian minister, graduate of Union Seminary who did post graduate work in Germany. He became part of the new Alliance missionary movement and in 1901 became a teacher at A. B. Simpson's Missionary Training Institute at Nyack, NY (now Nyack College). Stevens in 1918 founded the short-lived Midland Bible Institute of Kansas City, and trained Jeremiah Lanphier and Grattan Guinness in that brief period. Midland closed in 1923 and Stevens then taught at Simpson Bible Institute in Seattle, WA.

A premillennial and probably dispensational view of prophecy. The author states that the Spirit revealed these truths to him during times of meditation.
