The author was the pastor of the First Baptist Church of Fort Smith, Arkansas, at the time this was written.
J. Harold Smith (1910-2001), born in Woodruff, South Carolina, graduated at Furman University, "born again" in 1932 and thereafter dedicated his life to preaching. He was a pioneer in the use of broadcast media, and founded the Radio Bible Hour in 1935, and helped to develop Christian radio in the 1940's. In 1953 he began radio broadcasts of the morning services at the Fort Smith Baptist Church.
In this booklet he attacks the then-new Revised Standard Version of the Bible.
