Ritchie, J. M. Messiah the Prince: A Study in Biblical Prophecy. New York: Exposition Press, 1952. 1st Edition.  [258]

Gray cloth hardcover with dark red lettering, 137 clean pp., 5 3/4 x 8 3/4, no dust jacket. Signed by the author on the ffep. Good. Hardcover.

Jacob Marion Ritchie (1878-1963). His earlier book, Prophetic Highlights, was published by Fleming H. Revell, placing the author squarely within the evangelical camp.

The book offered here is a study of the chronology and prophecies found in Daniel and elsewhere. The author differs from some common views regarding the beginning and ending of the 70 weeks of Daniel.  His dating of the beginning of the 70 weeks of Daniel differs, as does his conclusions regarding the End Times.  Takes issue with Gabelein, whose views he believes are "unscriptural."
