A reprinting of the minutes, without comment. Reformed Presbyterians were in agitation regarding changes in their denomination in the 1870’s and this may have been issued by one of the sides in the various controversies. Names mentioned within include John Black, William Gibson, Samuel B. Wylie, and Alexander McLeod. The Covenanters were opposed to the United States Constitution at this time, and there are records here indicating that, as well as an injunction against taking the oath required of jury members.
