Robert Martin Pope (1865-1944), English Wesleyan minister, educated at St. John's College, Cambridge. Rev. Pope was a student of ancient Christian hymns, and several of his translations were published. He has an entry in Julian's Dictionary of Hymnology, 1907 Supplement.
