G. Campbell Morgan organized this conference on the pattern that he saw at Moody's Northfield Conferences. They attracted eminent ministers and Christian workers from various denominations and several countries. "From 1906 to 1914, great 10-day conferences were held each year with speakers such as F. B. Meyer, R. B. Girdlestone, John Hutton, James Orr, W. H. Griffith Thomas, J. H. Jowett, A. T. Pierson, Charles R.
