This edition originally issued in nine volumes and here in three, each volume being "three volumes in one." Green publisher's cloth, bindings very good and clean, 5 1/4 x 7 3/4 inches, each volume with several steel engravings, page numbers remain as they where when issued as a nine-volume set. The three books take up 5 1/2 inches of shelf space. Each volume with the small paper ticket on the rear paste-down, "Henry Miller, Bookseller & Binder, 82 Nassau St., N.Y." There is a general index to the whole at the end of the third volume. Very good. Hardcover.
