Frederick William Krummacher, D.D (1796-1868), b. in Germany, Reformed pastor, instrumental in a revival among German Reformed churches. Krummacher was the author of several popular evangelical books republished in English in America (Elijah the Tishbite, The Suffering Saviour, &c.) and was the instructor of Philip Schaff, historian & theologian.
