The memoir reviews five revivals that occurred during his ministry, and there is a separate chapter devoted to revivals under his ministry.
Alvan Hyde (1768-1833), b. in Franklin, CT; d. Vernon CT. He graduated at Dartmouth in 1788, studied theology, and in 1792 was ordained pastor of the church in Lee, where he remained until his death.
