"Estratto dal Giornale La Nazione." La Nazione was founded in 1859 by Bettino Ricasoli who promoted the idea of a unified Italy through its pages. The next year Alessandro D'Ancona was editor, followed by Piero Puccioni from 1860 to 1869. These are most likely the contributors to this anonymous work. The journal is still in print (2020).

Worldcat records just two locations. "The Italian Question considered in terms of Law and Religion."

"Il rapido e pressoche subitaneo congiungersi de' varii Stati d'Italia in un solo ed independente regno monarchico costituzienale, e un fatto quanto stupendo de maraviglioso, altrettanto degno di rimanere duraturo e perpetuo." - p. 1.

Translated: "The rapid and almost immediate joining of the various states of Italy into a single and independent constitutional monarchical kingdom, is a fact as stupendous and marvelous as it is, equally worthy of remaining lasting and perpetual."
