William Edward Biederwolf (1867-1939), Presbyterian pastor and influential in the early fundamentalist movement. Rev. Biederwolf was pastor of the Broadway Church, Logansport, Ind., 1897-1900; a chaplain in the Spanish-American War; and a successful evangelist from 1900 till his death. He was a popular Bible teacher and preacher and the Head of the Winona Lake Bible Conference 1922; and at the Winona Lake School of Theology 1922-33. Rev. Biederwolf pastored in Palm Beach, Fla., from 1929-39.
